NPC Directory
Every NPC SecondWind RO adds, what it does and where it stands, nearly all in Prontera, each with a /navi command that walks you straight there.
NPC Directory
Almost everything SecondWind RO adds sits in Prontera. That is deliberate. Nobody should have to memorise which town holds which service, and nobody should warp across the world to reset their stats. One town, one short walk, done.
Below is every NPC we placed, what it does, and where it stands.
Getting there without hunting for it#
The client has a built in navigation command. Type it into chat and your minimap draws a route, then your character walks it on its own.
The format looks like this:
Every NPC on this page carries its command in a small pill. Click the icon at the end, paste into chat with Ctrl+V, hit Enter. Off you go.
One limitation worth knowing. The route cannot cross a warp portal, so a command only works from a map that connects to the target by road. From inside a dungeon, warp to town first.
Prontera, around the fountain#
The square is where you will spend your downtime. Here is what stands there.
| NPC | What it does for you | Walk there |
|---|---|---|
| Costume Converter | Turns an ordinary headgear into a costume so it stops taking up a real equipment slot, and turns it back again. | |
| Kafra Employee | Save your respawn point, open storage for 40z, rent a pushcart for 800z, teleport to other towns. Members of a guild also get guild storage from this menu. | |
| Soul Priestess | Instant full heal plus Blessing and Increase AGI, all free, no dialogue to click through. She is not exclusive to Prontera, see below. | |
| Warper | Takes you to towns, fields and dungeons. Anything you have not visited yourself stays locked until you walk there once. | |
| Stylist | Hair style, hair colour and clothes colour, changed as often as you like, free of charge. | |
| Welcome Package | The starter kit for a new character. One per character, so every reroll gets its own. | |
| Soul Smith Aurin | Forges the Soul Circlet, our own headgear. Bring the materials, she does the work. | |
| Hall of Fame | Thirteen leaderboards in three categories: characters, combat and events. | |
| Who's Online | Who is logged in right now, which map they are on, what they are up to. The sign above him shows the current player count. | |
| Main Office | A signpost, not an NPC to talk to. Marks where the GM office is. | |
| Midgard Herald | Server announcements, the event schedule and in-game polls you can vote in. | |
| Vote Shop | Turns the votes you cast on the website into Vote Points and pays them out. | |
| Voucher Redeemer | Redeems a Name Change or Gender Change voucher. | |
| Guild Bank | A shared zeny account for a guild. Every member can pay in and take out, so it runs on trust. | |
| Questboard | The repeatable hunting missions that are open right now. | |
| Party Finder | Who is recruiting and who is looking. Reachable with @lfg from anywhere. |
|
| Private MVP Room | Rents you a private room with an MVP in it. No competition, nobody stealing the kill. | |
| PVP Warper | Into the arena and back out, with live player counts so you know if anyone is there. | |
| WoE Sign | Who owns which castle, when the next War of Emperium runs, and the rules in force. |
The coin shops#
Lydia and Hobota stand next to each other at the north west corner. Both sell the same kind of goods for different currencies, and neither of them sells power. Dimonka is off to the east and takes coins as well, but she wants materials with them.
| NPC | Currency | How you earn it | Walk there |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lydia | Poring Coins |
Most monsters drop them at roughly 5 percent. They are tradeable, so buying them from other players works too. | |
| Hobota | Mission Points | Hunting missions from the Questboard, capped at 210 points a day. | |
| Dimonka | Poring Coins plus materials |
26 headgears, from flavour pieces to real gear. The coins are the easy half. |
What they stock and what it costs is on Poring Coins, Hunting Board & Missions and Headgear Crafting.
Inside the Prontera Inn#
Through the door at the north east of the square. This building holds everything that changes your character rather than your bags.
| NPC | What it does for you | Walk there |
|---|---|---|
| Job Master | Changes your job the moment you qualify. First class, second class, transcendent, and our own Prestige rebirth. | |
| Reset Girl | Stats, skills or both. The first reset on a character is free. After that it costs zeny, and a Reset Pass from Lydia covers any of the three. | |
| Platinum Skill NPC | Gives you every platinum skill your class can learn, in one click. A Super Novice also gets Break Through and Help Angel here. | |
| Novice Guardian | Clears a Super Novice's death record, free of charge, so the stat bonus at job level 70 comes back. | |
| Stargazer | Resets a Star Gladiator's Feeling or Hatred. 200,000z for the three places, 100,000z for the three targets. | |
| Jackie | Every shuriken and kunai a Ninja throws, a few zeny each. | |
| Vincenzo | Every bullet and sphere a Gunslinger fires. | |
| Plagiarism Master | Rogues and Stalkers pick their Plagiarism skill directly for 50,000z instead of hunting for a monster that casts it. | |
| Wise Old Woman | Pulls cards back out of equipment and never fails at it. 200,000z plus 25,000z for each card, and two materials. See Removing Cards. | |
| Seiyablem | Adds a card slot to older weapons and armour. Costs zeny plus materials and usually fails. See Adding Slots. | |
| Leablem | Same trade, for the Episode 12 pieces. See Adding Slots. | |
| Universal Rental NPC | Pushcart, falcon or peco, free, as long as your class has learned the skill. | |
| Settings Assistant | Switches individual comfort features on and off for your character. | |
| Support Terminal | Report a bug, reach a GM, check what happened to your ticket. | |
| Tool Dealer | The regular dealer, but we stocked him up. Blue Gemstones, Yggdrasil Leaves, Berserk Potions and Medicine Bowls on top of the usual supplies, plus arrows, bullets, shuriken and kunai. |
The Shopping Mall#
Vending shops and buying stores only work in one place now. Reach it free from any Warper (" ~ Shopping Mall").
| NPC | What it does for you |
|---|---|
| Kafra Employee | Save your respawn point and open storage, same as the town Kafra. |
| Market Notice Board | A speech bubble explaining the layout, where to set up and where not. |
| Warper | Takes you back out again. |
Full details, including why no second account is needed for vending any more, on Shopping Mall & Offline Vending.
Everywhere else#
Two of these stand in many towns rather than only in Prontera. The other two have a fixed home elsewhere.
Guild Chemist stands in the Morocc thieves' den at . She brews Deadly Poison Bottles for an Assassin Cross in whatever quantity you ask for, charging the materials and nothing else. Doing it yourself costs 10 SP per bottle, so a large batch through her costs no SP at all. More on Class Changes.
Soul Priestess stands in 36 towns, including the ones most servers skip. Alberta, Al De Baran, Amatsu, Ayothaya, Brasilis, Comodo, Dewata, Einbech, Einbroch, El Dicastes, Geffen, Gonryun, Hugel, Izlude, Jawaii, Lighthalzen, Louyang, Malangdo, Malaya, Manuk, Midgard Camp, Mora, Morocc, Moscovia, Niflheim, Payon, Prontera, Rachel, Splendide, Thor Camp, Umbala, Veins, Yuno and the Christmas village all have one. Slot Machine sits in the casino building in Comodo at . Six Poring Coins a spin, or 100,000 zeny when you are out of coins. Details on Comodo Casino.
Event NPCs#

| NPC | Event | Walk there |
|---|---|---|
