One NPC that remembers your command preferences and puts them back every time you log in.
Settings Assistant
Ragnarok's comfort commands share one annoyance. They reset when you log out, so every session begins with the same four or five commands typed in the same order.
The Settings Assistant takes that off your hands. Set your preferences once and they are reapplied automatically at every login, on that character, indefinitely.

What it remembers#
Auto-loot#
Off, 100 percent, 70 percent, 50 percent, or a custom figure you type in yourself.
The percentage is a rarity threshold rather than a chance. At 100 you pick up everything. At 1 you pick up only things that drop at 1 percent or rarer, which is the setting most people end up on once they stop needing the small change.
Kill steal protection#
Off, Self, Party or Guild.
Self stops anybody else touching monsters you are fighting. Party extends the same protection across your party so members do not take from each other. Guild does it guild-wide.
It works in both directions, which is the part worth knowing. With it on you also stop accidentally taking somebody else's monster, and that is how most kill stealing happens.
Display toggles#
Three independent switches.
Show EXP prints what each kill gave you. Show zeny does the same for money picked up. Show delay warns you when you act during a skill delay, which is useful while you are still learning a caster.
Auto pet feeding#
On or off.
The pet info window has no checkbox for this on our client, so @autofeed is the only way to switch it, and the assistant is the only way to make it stick across logins. Feeding still needs the pet's usual food item in your inventory.
Invitation filter#
Switches on @noask, which automatically declines party, guild, friend and trade requests. Useful when you want to be left alone without having to explain yourself to anyone.
Channels#
#global and #trade are joined automatically at login. If you would rather not be in either of them, the assistant remembers that as well and stops rejoining them for you.
The Soul Priestess#
One setting here does not belong to a command. It controls how the Soul Priestess treats you, so if you prefer clicking her over being healed as you walk past, that is where to change it.
Why an NPC#
Everything the assistant does can be typed by hand. @autoloot 1, @noks party, @showexp and the rest all work as you would expect, and nothing here is locked behind the NPC.
The only difference is that the assistant's version survives logging out. If you enjoy typing your setup every session, nothing is stopping you.
Per character, not per account#
Preferences live on the character. Your Priest and your Blacksmith can have completely different setups, which matters more than it sounds. A support character and a farmer want opposite settings for very nearly everything.
