SecondWind RO is a Pre-Renewal Ragnarok Online server built around one idea: the world should be worth exploring, and comfort features should never cheapen that.
You get honest 5x rates, classic 99/70 progression and a set of custom systems that reward playing. Fast travel exists once you have walked the route. Cards drop, and boss cards stay as rare as they always were. Nothing on this server can be bought with real money.
The server is live. Registration is open and everyone is welcome. Create an account, then download the client and pick a name.

What makes this server different#
Explore-to-Unlock Warper#
Fast travel is there, but a destination only appears in the menu after you have reached it on foot. Your warp list becomes a record of where you have been.
World Explorer#
Counts those places. Four achievement tiers, ending in a golden server-wide announcement when somebody reaches 300 locations.
Custom Rebirth#
Picks up where Transcendent stops. Five prestige cycles, each with a permanent EXP bonus, extra stat points and a title.
Poring Coin System#
Coins drop from monsters and get paid out by every event. They are tradeable, so a player who hates shopping can sell theirs to a player who hates grinding.
Pet System#
Every tameable pet gives a stat bonus that grows with loyalty. The wiki page lists all 54 with sprites, taming items, food and spawn maps.
Vote Rewards#
Voting pays Vote Points, an account-bound currency. It buys 24 costume headgears plus consumables, and none of it can be traded.
Costume Converter#
Turns any headgear into a costume, so you wear the look you want and keep the equipment slot free. Cards and refines survive, and it works both ways.
Hunting Missions#
Six daily hunts for your level range, each worth a share of the level you are on. They pay zeny, Mission Points and coins on top.
Hall of Fame#
Thirteen live leaderboards on the Prontera plaza, from base level to MVP kills, with anti-farming rules built in.
Kill Counter#
Track up to five monsters at once. The count appears over your head while you play and survives logging out.
Support Terminal#
Gets you unstuck and files a ticket without alt-tabbing to Discord. Tickets stay open until a GM closes them.
Settings Assistant#
Remembers your preferences. Autoloot, kill steal protection, invite filtering and the rest come back automatically at login.
Guild Services#
A shared zeny bank and guild storage at every Kafra, from the day the guild is founded.

Every NPC carries a command that walks your character straight to it.
Rare stays rare#
This server exists for people who miss how the original game felt. Boss cards, MVP cards and treasure chests stay at 1x while everything else gets a gentle push. Fast travel and achievements are earned by playing, and nothing at all is for sale.
